AutoNation Mobility will offer customers six- to 12-month leases on a wide range of sedans, SUVs, trucks and luxury cars from top automotive brands.

AutoNation, Inc. has launched AutoNation Mobility, a new digital vehicle micro lease model, offering customers in Los Angeles, Northern California and South Florida short-term access to a vehicle without purchase.

The newly launched AutoNation Mobility promises a fully digital shopping experience, where customers can choose from an extensive selection of new vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, trucks and luxury cars from top automotive brands. The process is entirely online, from vehicle selection to transaction completion.

"AutoNation Mobility puts the customer firmly in the driver's seat, offering them a fully digital shopping experience and the freedom to drive away in the vehicle that suits their needs at any given time, without the commitment to ownership," said Ivan Mihov, VP of AutoNation Mobility.

AutoNation Mobility's micro lease model allows customers to enjoy driving different vehicles for a period of six to 12 months, based on their chosen commitment duration. This model not only eliminates the responsibilities of ownership and long-term financing but also provides a level of flexibility and variety that traditional car ownership or leasing cannot match.

Maintenance and roadside assistance are included in the micro leases. Customers also have the option to extend their lease or purchase the vehicle at the end of the term. This comprehensive approach ensures that customers enjoy a worry-free experience, knowing their vehicle is well-maintained and protected by AutoNation at no additional cost.

AutoNation Mobility also offers an intuitive platform for customers to select and configure vehicles. The service features unique curated collections called "Playlists," tailored to different consumer personalities and lifestyles, along with the option to search for specific vehicle makes and models.

Mike Manley, CEO at AutoNation, highlighted the launch as a significant step towards the company’s goal of becoming the nation’s most comprehensive transportation solutions provider.

"The launch of AutoNation Mobility is the next step in the company's trajectory to becoming the nation's most comprehensive provider of transportation solutions offering customers a connected and convenient range of products and services," Manley said.

AutoNation will showcase AutoNation Mobility at the upcoming LA Auto Show, Nov. 16-26 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
