Electrify Expo, North America’s largest electric vehicle (EV) festival, brought fun for all ages to Long Beach, CA, for an action-packed weekend, May 20-21 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
This was the first date on Electrify Expo’s 2023 tour. The next stop is June 24-25 in San Francisco, CA. Upcoming additional stops include Washington, D.C., New York, Seattle, Miami and Austin, TX. Tickets are available to purchase in person and online at www.electrifyexpo.com.
Attendees at this year’s Electrify Expo stops will ride, drive and demo the world's top electric cars and trucks alongside electric motorcycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, e-skateboards and more.
ReVolt Systems, a small shop in Oceanside, CA, attended the expo in Long Beach. ReVolt Systems builds the CR-43B crate motor, a 600-hp electric motor designed to fit in almost any front engine, rear wheel drive application. The motors are proudly made locally, with the company's five-axis machining done next door, and the fabrication and welding done in Oceanside.
ReVolt Systems brought a 1965 Ford Mustang, 1980 GMC Sierra Grande, Team Vesco #444 “Little Giant” streamliner and a bike, owned by Kent Riches of AirTech Streamlining, who lent the bike to ReVolt to restore and re-battery to make an attempt on the electric motorcycle land speed record this year.
