MotorTrend Group, a Warner Bros. Discovery company, announced Oct. 26 the next phase of its expansion strategy with a new way for viewers to enjoy high-quality automotive content: free ad-supported streaming TV that will reach tens of millions of viewers and hundreds of millions of devices.

Building upon its 1.3 billion monthly impressions across robust television, web, social and print properties, fans will now be able to access the all-new MotorTrend FAST TV channel on Samsung TV Plus, Samsung’s free TV and video streaming platform, and Xumo.

This gives viewers more options than ever to watch MotorTrend’s massive library of automotive content in addition to MotorTrend+, the only ad-free subscription streaming service dedicated entirely to the motoring world and MotorTrend TV, already available in 73 million homes.

The free ad-supported streaming channel, MotorTrend FAST TV, will stream MotorTrend’s most popular shows in the U.S and Canada, such as "Roadkill," "Bitchin' Rides" and "Texas Metal," online without a subscription. It is available Oct. 26 on Samsung TV Plus and will be available Oct. 27 on FAST service Xumo. More FAST providers will be announced soon.

"The launch of MotorTrend FAST TV marks a milestone in our mission to introduce automotive culture and inspire car fans everywhere by getting our massive library of premium automotive storytelling in the hands and on the digital screens of our tens of millions of fans," said Alex Wellen, global president and general manager, MotorTrend Group. "With the addition of this free, ad-supported experience, MotorTrend FAST TV complements our digital and TV subscription offerings for consumers, and connects us with our advertisers and powerful new platforms like Samsung TV Plus and Xumo in fresh, new ways."

MotorTrend FAST TV offers content for every car fan. Uniquely powered by MotorTrend’s extensive, world-leading library of shows, MotorTrend FAST TV caters to consumers who love the automotive world with everything from at-home project tips to shows about professional, award-winning in-depth customizations.

The daily programming blocks on MotorTrend FAST TV include:

  • Low Buck Builds series such as "Dirt Every Day" and "Roadkill's Junkyard Garage" that showcase MotorTrend’s crew of experts’ engine ingenuity and knowledge with a focus on function, not appearance.
  • Classics and Restorations take viewers inside the craftsmanship of stunning, one-of-a-kind custom rebuilds that blend performance and style. Series include "Bitchin' Rides," "Iron Resurrection," "Texas Metal," "Unique Rides" and "Speed is the New Black."
  • Do-It-Yourself shows that provide helpful tips, tricks and recommendations for the at home hobbyist builder such as "Engine Masters," "All Girls Garage," "Four Wheeler" and "Car Fix."
  • Late Model Showcase with shows including "Head 2 Head" and "Ignition" provides answers to those wondering what’s new, what’s fast and what’s cool in the automotive world.

Additionally, weekends on MotorTrend FAST TV are for "Roadkill," a truly one-of-a-kind programming block dedicated entirely to MotorTrend’s No. 1 digital series and the shows it has inspired. Saturdays and Sundays are for two of MotorTrend’s most popular experts, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan, who specialize in automotive chaos theory---brilliant execution of bad ideas involving all manner of muscle cars, 4x4s and/or hot rods. The weekend will also feature the popular spinoff "Faster with Finnegan."

“With MotorTrend FAST TV we have the opportunity to reach new audiences who may not have sampled our offering in the past,” said Mark Jocson, vice president of distribution and partnerships, MotorTrend Group. “We’re excited to be a premium content provider on industry-leading platforms, and offer car fans of all makes, models and creeds new places to connect with the automotive world they love.”

MotorTrend FAST TV is now available on Samsung TV Plus, the leading global smart TV manufacturer’s free FAST platform, which offers nearly 230 channels in the U.S. and more than 1,600 channels globally across news, sports, entertainment, comedy, reality, movies and lifestyle programming via linear channels and on-demand content.

MotorTrend FAST TV is available Oct. 27 on Xumo Channel 467. As a leading pioneer in FAST entertainment, Xumo provides free access to exclusive movies, TV shows and more than 250 channels with premium programming across 26 genres, including local news, weather, action, drama TV, Westerns, country TV, Latino, crime TV, game shows, daytime TV, automotive and more.
