MotorTrend Group, a Warner Bros. Discovery company, on June 22 announced the all-new original series "Super Street Garage" will premiere July 21.
The new teaser trailer for the show was also made public, celebrating the “tuner” car culture movement originally defined by Super Street Magazine, from which the new program is descended. The TV show embodies the spirit of the original 1990s magazine, transforming that culturally defining publication into a show with a distinctly 21st-century viewpoint, following two charismatic hosts as they rebuild vehicles with a focus on high-performance technology, modern-design aesthetics and all-around fun.
"Super Street Garage" begins airing in one-hour blocks on Fridays at 9 p.m. PT/8 p.m. CT on July 21 on MotorTrend TV and MotorTrend+.
The vibrant 30-second "Super Street Garage" trailer introduces hosts John "Nads" Naderi and Amir Bentatou against a backdrop of high-performance tuner vehicles. Seamlessly blending action-packed snippets from the series, it showcases the show's mission to spotlight the modification of import cars and the talent behind it.
This first season of "Super Street Garage" will comprise of 13 episodes highlighting diverse, neo-classic sport compact vehicles such as the Honda Civic, Subaru BRZ and Nissan 350Z.
Naderi is former Super Street Magazine editor in chief, and Bentatou is a highly skilled car builder and Time Attack circuit racing record-holder, who brings a mix of youthful enthusiasm and mechanical expertise that make him both mentor and cohort to Nads. With a team like this, you can be sure audiences are in for a wild ride. Viewers will learn the intricacies of Super Street Garage's take on car culture and automotive history, as well as experience plenty of laughs along the way.
