Jeremy and Matt Buller, North Dakota brothers who turned a passion for working on cars to founding three Abra collision repair facilities throughout the state, have been named the Abra Rookie of the Year for 2023.

The Rookie of the Year award is given in recognition to a new Abra franchisee as it gets “up and running” with Abra. To qualify for the award, a franchisee must be in their first 10 years with Abra, has completed Abra immersion and enthusiastically embrace the Abra culture with active participation.

The 2023 Rookie of the Year recipients have established themselves as seasoned pros in the collision repair industry. After growing up fixing cars on their family farm, this duo officially became owners together in 2015. In just eight years, they quickly scaled their operations to include three Abra locations across North Dakota, with their most recent location Abra Mandan exceeding all expectations and ultimately leading them to be named Rookie of the Year.

These owners go above and beyond to provide top-tier service, always securing the latest certifications and tools to support the repair process. They also host an annual community day that highlights a charitable partner and includes a vendor show, car show and even an RC airplane show.

“It is a real honor even to be considered for this award among a lot of other deserving franchise owners,” said Jeremy Buller. “Thanks to our great leadership team, my brother Matt, Amanda, and our great production team. They are the ones that make this all possible. We are a family-based business that prides ourselves on taking care of people, and that means our people, our customers and our community.”

The awards were presented at a gala held as part of the inaugural Driven Brands U.S. collision repair joint conference, Evolution 2023, Sept. 28-30 in Kissimmee, FL.
