Officials: 1 Dead After Fire Breaks Out at Iowa Auto Repair Shop

One man is dead after suffering serious burns in a fire at a Des Moines, IA, auto shop, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said in a press release. 

Des Moines police and fire crews responded to reports of a fire at Metro Motors just before 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25.

55-year-old Tad Costello of Johnston was the only person inside the shop when the fire started. He was working on a car and had to be pulled from the building, according to the sheriff's office.
