Real estate development and construction firm Clayco has been selected by Rivian to construct its next EV manufacturing facility in Stanton Springs, GA.
Rivian aims to develop an 1,800-acre complex that exemplifies the integration of sustainability and technology. The facility will not only focus on producing the company's EVs, but also prioritize eco-conscious manufacturing practices.
“We have an ambitious goal to develop an eco-conscious facility that illustrates our mission of keeping the world adventurous forever,” said Tony Sanger, vice president of facilities at Rivian. “With Clayco’s dedication to developing innovative ideas and solutions, we are confident they are the right partner to ensure the Rivian plant is a shining example of sustainable manufacturing.”
The new plant is expected to create approximately 7,500 jobs.

In addition to Clayco, Rivian's project will be supported by Jacobs, the engineer of record, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the design architect.
The Rivian plant is slated to commence vehicle production in 2026.
